Just a year after The Razz EP launched Matt Warren’s career, he eturned in 1986 with his new single The Way To My Heart. Matt had written mixed and co-produced his new release with Tom O’Callaghan who arranged and added a piano solo which played an important part in the success of the single.
Tom O’Callaghan was a member of Master Plan, and so was vocalist Pepper Gomez takes charge of the vocal on The Way To My Heart. Pepper Gomez came to prominence after enjoying a hit single with the house classic Pushin’ Too Hard. The two members of Master Plan were part of Matt Warren’s master plan during the recording of The Way To My Heart which features the Chicago House Mix. It epitomises everything that is good about Chicago House.
