Thirty-three years ago Razz featuring Matt Warren and Ralphi Rosario recorded The Razz EP at at Chicago Trax. The two friends had written two tracks each for The Razz EP. Matt’s contributions were Kill Yourself Dancing and Pump It Up. Just like the other tracks, they were produced by Matt and Ralphi. When it came time to mix the The Razz EP, they brought onboard none other than Farley “Jackmaster” Funk.
With The Razz EP complete, it was released on Sunset Records in 1985 and these slammin’ tracks launched the career of Matt Warren and Ralphi Rosario. Both would go onto become legends of the Chicago house scene.
