Having written You Can Do It, Miguel Garcia dawned his new Michaelangelo moniker and prepared to record his new single. To do this, Miguel brought onboard some of his musical friends.
This included Ralphi Rosario who would join forces with Miguel Garcia to add backing vocals. They were joined by Tammy Thomas who was going to take charge of the lead vocals. Another friend of Miguel Garcia’s was going to add a rap-Matt “The Mighty” Warren. The four friends made their way to recording studio to begin work on the debut single from Michaelangelo.
You Can Do It was arranged by Dane Roewade and Miguel Garcia who took charge of production. Mixing You Can Do It, You Can Do It (You Can Dub It), You Can Do It (Bonus Do It’s) and You Can Do It (You Can Accapella) were Miguel Garcia and Matt Warren. When they finished the four tracks, they were released later in 1985 as Michaelangelo’s single You Can Do It.
It was released later in 1985 and featured the catalogue number SUN-2770. You Can Do featured four tracks including You Can Do It (You Can Dub) which takes the listener back to Chicago in 1985. By then, the house revolution was underway.
