By 1999, Matt Warren was spending more of his time working as an engineer. One of the projects he worked on was Lamagra’s new single Sacrifice.
Lamagara was a new deep house project founded by Roland Clark and Phillip Damien, who wrote, and later, produced Sacrifice
As the sessions began, they were engineered by Matt Warren. He watched as Lamagra featuring Roland Clark recorded the single Sacrifice (Jazzed-Out Vocal) and the B-Side Sacrifice (Dubbin Out.)
Sacrifice was released by Prescription in 1999, and was dedicated to the memory of Sangki Yeo. Sadly, Sacrifice was the only single that Roland Clark and Phillip Damien’s short-lived deep house vehicle.
