Matt Warren “Music is My Life” Wake up! Music

I love real House music and Matt Warren is real House.

This is Matt Warren’s first album in 10 years, he’s been busy remixing and producing some of the biggest names in music, including Bjork and Faith Evans, plus hundreds of other artists. Matt is old school.  He prefers to record live musicians than to use samples. He knows some of the best musicians in the business and they sound amazing on these tracks.

This is heart-pumping, groove-making House.  Dance the night away House.  Pump your hands in the air House.  Classic Chicago where it all began House.  The vocals are classic too. Janis McGee lays it all out for us and Pepper Gomez’s unique style brings yet another flavor.

If you love to dance then you will surely appreciate the soulful stylings of Matt Warren and his band warming up the floor for your grooving delights.  Matt began the Hard House genre with the groundbreaking “Bang The Box” in 1987 and now, more than 30 years later, he brings us the first Nu-House record with his “Music is My Life.”

Always pushing forward, Matt Warren and his collaboration with legendary diva Pepper Gomez on “Music is My Life” reaffirms his presence as a leading producer, songwriter and DJ.  This is a lush, soulful, funky Hard House record and it ushers Nu-House to the world music stage.  Bravo!
