A couple of months ago, Stars and Celebs reviewed veteran Chicago house music pioneer and producer-engineer Matt Warren’s breakthrough album, Music Is My Life.

The world renowned DJ and producer has been transforming the music industry for over the past forty years.  He lends his music expertise engineering and producing music for a variety of artist leading him to become a Platinum award-winning producer-engineer.

A true tour de force, the elaborate production is recorded with acoustic instrumentation along with electronic beats creating a set of happening mixes that give off an electrifying appeal.

The groundbreaking artist and producer Matt Warren is back with the music video to the lead single off of Music Is My Life, entitled, “How Do I Love Thee,” which features the sultry vocals of Pepper Gomez.

On the MV, a bustling Chicago house vibe could be detected along with an energetic electronic vibe.  The music video features various beautiful women from around the world posing and showing off their dance moves.  Some fully charged horns trace this song.  Gomez’s vocals are New Wave-tinged executed in a spoken word-like fashion.

According to Warren, “This is my first release of my own music in ten years.  I’ve been producing, engineering and remixing for others, but have not focused on my creative needs for a long time.  I felt like I wanted to do a record that reflects my journey as both a musician and DJ.  I really wanted to give that old school feel to the songs…  I guess what I means is to record “real music” with live instruments and arrangements…which are kind of a homage of all the music I grew up listening to.”
