A year before the release of Pleasure Dome, Modern Mechanical Music released Persia as their debut single on Sunset Records in 1986. Persia was written by Matt Warren and Nick H who joined forces with Miguel Garcia a.k.a. Michaelangelo to record the single at Reid Hyams’ Chicago Trax Recording Studio.
